E <strong>Luz Sintetizada<\/strong> \u2014 toda a luz produzida atrav\u00e9s de mecanismos humanos, concebida para ser constante, control\u00e1vel e deliberada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">Albert Einstein, ap\u00f3s uma vida inteira dedicada ao estudo da luz, admitiu que pouco sabia sobre esta. Quem somos n\u00f3s, ent\u00e3o, para afirmar o contr\u00e1rio?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">O que procuramos, modestamente, \u00e9 actuar enquanto aprendemos: trabalhar a luz tendo em considera\u00e7\u00e3o os seus efeitos f\u00edsicos e qu\u00edmicos sobre o corpo humano e sobre a envolvente biol\u00f3gica, ao mesmo tempo que interpretamos as dimens\u00f5es c\u00e9nicas que esta luz sintetizada assume na sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o espa\u00e7o arquitect\u00f3nico \u2014 concebido e moldado segundo crit\u00e9rios definidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">Acreditamos que esta \u00e9 a \u00fanica postura respons\u00e1vel quando projectamos fot\u00f5es em qualquer espa\u00e7o. Afinal, n\u00f3s n\u00e3o vemos a luz em si mesma; aquilo que verdadeiramente percepcionamos s\u00e3o os espa\u00e7os e os objectos que a luz nos permite ver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">A ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o opera , essencialmente, em dois grandes dom\u00ednios: o <strong>Funcional<\/strong> e o <strong>C\u00e9nico<\/strong>. A Luz Funcional responde a exig\u00eancias elementares, t\u00e9cnicas e rigorosas. Ainda assim, mesmo em condi\u00e7\u00f5es estritamente funcionais, existe sempre uma forma elegante de colocar a luz no espa\u00e7o. Acreditamos que a discri\u00e7\u00e3o deve orientar a luz ainda que o seu prop\u00f3sito seja meramente utilit\u00e1rio. A Luz C\u00e9nica, por sua vez, estabelece uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o mais profunda com o espa\u00e7o. A sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com a arquitectura pode ser <strong>Simbi\u00f3tica<\/strong>, <strong>Subordinada<\/strong>, ou <strong>Dissonante<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\"><strong>A Luz Simbi\u00f3tica<\/strong> \u00e9 concebida em simult\u00e2neo com a pr\u00f3pria arquitectura. \u00c9 estruturada desde o in\u00edcio do projecto, antes mesmo da obra existir, moldando superf\u00edcies e volumes que s\u00e3o desenhados para receber a luz como parte integrante da linguagem arquitect\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\"><strong>A Luz Subordinada<\/strong> habita espa\u00e7os pr\u00e9-existentes \u2014 ambientes que n\u00e3o foram originalmente concebidos para receber equipamento de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o. Neste contexto, a luz pode assumir-se como <strong>Luz de Destaque,<\/strong>, <strong>Conceptual<\/strong>, ou <strong>Festiva<\/strong>: desde a valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos arquitect\u00f3nicos e monumentos, at\u00e9 \u00e0 cria\u00e7\u00e3o de interven\u00e7\u00f5es conceptuais ou pe\u00e7as escult\u00f3ricas, ou ainda assumindo uma presen\u00e7a ef\u00e9mera e de celebra\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\"><strong>A Luz Dissonante<\/strong>, como o termo indica, perturba a percep\u00e7\u00e3o. Carece de sensibilidade c\u00e9nica e acaba por comprometer a leitura do espa\u00e7o ou do objecto que ilumina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">N\u00e3o procuramos classificar ou catalogar a luz \u2014 arrum\u00e1-la ordenadamente em prateleiras.
